Workplace and community mediation

An impartial mediator for conflict at work, between neighbours, or within a faith or community group.

Workplace mediation

Conflict at work affects everyone. Our civil and commercial mediators help employers and employees find practical ways forward. Mediation is voluntary, confidential and independent. Because the mediator doesn’t take sides, people are more willing to take part, and they can see their employer is taking things seriously.

How it works

  1. A first conversation with the employer, about 30 minutes
  2. A private meeting with each person, about 45 minutes each
  3. Two joint mediation sessions of about 1.5 hours, with a summary after each
  4. An outcome summary for each person and a report to the employer

The result is a written working agreement. It isn’t a legal document, and it stays confidential unless everyone agrees otherwise. We can come to you, or you can use our Wigan office if it’s free.

Community and faith mediation

Neighbours and community groups sometimes fall out, and it doesn’t have to escalate. When faith and community are part of the disagreement, it can feel deeply personal. Our faith-sensitive mediation gives a safe, respectful space to listen and be heard, rebuild relationships and find peaceful, practical solutions. We respect your beliefs and traditions, and we don’t judge.
